In the game, there are different supernatural creatures, that you can get in your game. See here how. Alien. Zombie. Vampire. Robot (Servo). Werewolf. Plantsim. Sasquatch.

Alien.
With the base game, you have a possibillity to get your own aliens. The special thing about aliens are their green skin and big black eyes. Some aliens are already i Strangetown, but if you would like to have more, this is how to get it.
You must invest in the expensive telescope, and let your male sim use it to look at the stars at night. It must be a man - not a woman. He might have to look many nights, because most time nothing happens.
Maybe one night, after looking at the stars for many hours, a blue light might appear around your sim, sucking him up into the air.
Your sim is now gone for a while. You can still select him and see his mood bars change up and down randomly. Then you see an UFO in the sky. It opens it dors ...
... and your sim is tossed to the ground. It is a hard landing, and he is a bit confused.
Let the next days pass, and you can now see that he is pregnant. Yes, you read it right. The man is pregnant.
When the time comes, he will give birth to an alien baby. Take care of the baby like any other baby. It just looks diferent. In time the baby will grow up, just as any ordinary sim.

Zombie. University Expansion Pack is required to get zombies.
With the expansion pack University, you have a possibillity to get your own zombies. Zombies are sims, tht are resurected from the dead. Zombies are not automatically in the game, so this is how to get them.
To get a zombie, you will need 3 things. First you need a sim, that has completed university.
Get the sim a job in the paranormal career and get him/her promoted until the career reward is unlocked. This special phone.
Now you need a sim to die on your lot, Cause of death doesn't matter.
Now use your new phone to call the grimm reaper, and ask for a resurection of the deceased. You will be asked for a payment for the deceased. The larger amount you want to pay, the more complete resurection. If the amount is not high enough, there will be lacks in the resurection, so just pay a small amount and get a zombie.

Vampire. Nightlife Expansion Pack is required to get vampires.
With the expansion pack Nightlife, you have a possibillity to get your own vampires. The special about vampires are, that they are night creatures. They never age, but sunlight can kill them. Playable vampires are not automatically in the game, but you can meet them in the nightlife. If you want a playable vampire, this is how to get them.
Let your sim go downtown while it is dark, and look for a vampire. You can recognize a vampire, by the way they cover their mouth - like this one. You might not meet a vampire on the first evening, but your sim must go again another time.
When you meet a vampire, make sure that they get to know him or her. Make the vampire a friend of your sim, the sam way as getting any other friends.
Invite the vampire over, but make sure that he / she is not busy all the time. There has to be time for using the free will. If the vampire thinks the friendship is fine, he / she will start hypnotizing you sim.
Then the vampire will bite your sim ...
... and your sim will turn into a vampire. There is a possibility to be cured of vampireism. Buy a special drink from the matchmaker and drink it. The sim will turn back to normal.

Robot (Servo). Open for Business Expansion Pack is required to get servos.
With the expansion pack Open for Business, you have a possibillity to get your own robots called Servos. The special about servos are, that they are made by a sim. They are really good help in the house or in your shop. Servos are not automatically in the game, but this is how to get them.
First you have to buy a robotstation for your sim.
Now your sim have to learn how to build robots. In the beginning, your sim can only build small toy robots.
When your sim hav build several toy robots he/she will get a bronze talet badge, and can now build more advanced robots.
But there is still a long way. After even more robots, your sim will get a silver talent badge, and are now able to build even more advanced robots.
Your sim have to continue building robots. Lots of them and finaly you sim gets a gold talent badge. He/she can now build the most advanced robots - Servos.
Use the hand tool to move the servo from the robotstation to the ground. Let your sim click the servo and initiate it as either male or female.
Give your servo a name and it is ready to move in.

Werewolf. Pets Expansion Pack is required to get werewolfs.
With the expansion pack Pets, you have a possibillity to get your own Werewolf. The special about werewolves are, that they are werewolves at night and sims at day. Werevolves are not automatically in the game, but this is how to get them.
Watch the stray wolves around your sims house at night. Look out for this one. The one with glowing eyes. He is the leader of the pack Wolves are said to be attracted by trees, bushes, weeds, babies and todlers.
Say hello to the wolf and build a friendship with him. Give him treats, play with him etc. The wolf does only visit once in a while, so use any opportunity to make friends.
When the wolf is visiting, make sure that he is not busy all the time. There has to be time for using the free will. If the wolf thinks the friendship is fine, he will bite you sim in the hand.
Then your sim will change ...
... into this werewolf. A werewolf has a possibility to be cured. Buy a special drink from the pet trainer and drink it. The sim will turn back to normal.

Plantsim. Seasons Expansion Pack is required to get plantsims.
With the expansion pack Seasons, you have a possibillity to get your own plantsims. Plantsims does not hav so many need as ordinary sims. Only sunligt, water and love. In the game you already have a plantsim and her todler. Here you can see how to get your own.
Make a garden and let your sim take care of the garden until he gets a gold talent badge in gardening.
When insects start to swarm around your plants, your sim must spray the plants to get rid of them.
Your fruit trees can get insects too. They must be sprayed too. Just spray and spray and spray ....
No, no, no. Do not put your plants inside a greenhouse. You won't get any insects then.
No, this is no good either. Do not put a ladybug hous next to your plants. The ladybugs will eat the insects.
When your sim has sprayed lots of insects, a dustcloud will show around him and cover him up.

Sasquatch. Bon Voyage Expansion Pack is required to get a sasquatch.
With the expansion pack Bon Voyage, you have a possibillity to get your own sasquatch. Here you can see how to find your own.
A sasquatch lives in a hideaway in the mountains on a secret lot. To find that lot, you must send your sim on a vacation in the mountains.
Let your sim dig for treasure until he finds a map of the 3 lakes. It is not necessary to find the map on a vacation lot. The map can be found by diiging for treasure in your own garden.
When the sim has the map in the rucksack, the sim should go to a public lot. The secret lot will be marked with a questionmark. Choose that lot. The lot will only be available when the sim has the map. When the sim arives at the lot, you can see a sasquatch standing in front of a log cabin.
It is now time to build a friendship with the sasquatch. In the ordinary way.
Offer the sasquatch to move in. If he accepts, he won't go with you right away.
But he will be waiting at home, when your sim returns frim the vacation.
